About Elisabeth

As the first independently established German language trainer in Amsterdam, Elisabeth Schlager has already helped hundreds of students to improve their German. With decades of experience in the field of language training, intercultural communication and coaching she has developed the necessary skills to offer her students an extremely effective course of studies.

" I love supporting people to do their job with enjoyment also in the German language! My line of approach: to discover how to speak German with confidence, and to develop the necessary self-reflection for this "

To me, the whole point is that someone feels close to whom he or she really is, so he or she comes across as authentic when speaking and negotiating. Of course, you need vocabulary for this and a certain minimum of grammar, but the best thing is daring to be yourself, isn’t it?

I’m delighted my clients come from all over the Netherlands and from so many different lines of business. It’s my privilege to train them and it continually challenges me to research new professional areas including import-export, marketing and market enlargement, architecture, fiscal law, presentation techniques, theatre, sales, negotiating, and lots more
